Kawasaki Mule Roofs Built For Sun And Weather
Aluminum, poly, and insulated Kawasaki Mule roofs that cut sun and rain exposure. Compare shade, noise, and mounting for ranch and hunting use.
During hot months, shade is one of the most valuable accessories on a working ranch. A Kawasaki Mule roof pays for itself in how much longer anyone is willing to stay on the machine.
The tradeoffs are simple: poly roofs are quiet and cheap, aluminum is tough and reflects heat well, and insulated or dual-layer roofs cut radiant heat and rain drumming the most.
Look for a roof with a front lip that sheds water away from the dash and mounts that clamp to the Mule cage without drilling.

Kawasaki Mule questions
+Aluminum or plastic roof for a Kawasaki Mule?
Aluminum handles brush and limb strikes better and reflects heat; poly is quieter in rain and costs less. Working ranch machines usually run aluminum.
+Will a roof make the machine hotter?
No. Direct sun on the seats and dash is what makes a UTV unbearable in hot weather. A roof lowers surface temperatures significantly and keeps the cab shaded all day.
+Do roofs leak?
A one-piece roof with sealed mounts stays dry. Two-piece roofs can seep at the seam unless you run the supplied gasket or a bead of sealant.
+Can I mount lights to a UTV roof?
Yes, most aluminum roofs support a light bar on the front lip. Check thickness and use backing plates on poly roofs.
