Kawasaki Mule Windshields For Brush And Dust
Full, half, and vented Kawasaki Mule windshields that survive brush, branches, and heavy dust. Compare glass and poly options for ranch use.
A windshield is the difference between arriving at the back pasture clean and arriving covered in dust and exposed to branches.
On a Kawasaki Mule you have three choices: a full windshield that seals out dust, a half windshield that keeps airflow, and a vented full shield that does both with a flip-open panel. Hot-weather work usually favors a vented or half shield.
Material matters as much as style. Hard-coated polycarbonate resists brush scratching; laminated glass with a wiper is the choice if you drive in real weather.

Kawasaki Mule questions
+Full or half windshield for a Kawasaki Mule?
Half shields keep air moving and suit hot summers. Full shields seal out dust and cold but trap heat and can create a low-speed dust vacuum behind the cab unless you add a rear panel.
+Glass or polycarbonate?
Glass stays clear longer and takes a wiper; poly is lighter, cheaper, and will not shatter in brush. For heavy mesquite work, hard-coated poly is the practical pick.
+How do I keep a UTV windshield from scratching?
Rinse dust off before wiping, use a plastic-safe cleaner, and never dry-wipe a poly shield. Grit plus a shop rag is what ruins them.
+Do windshields need a roof?
Most mount to the cage and seal against a roof. Without a roof, expect a gap that lets rain and dust over the top.
