The KEMIMOTO belt changing tool for the Can-Am Maverick X3 lets you swap a broken or worn belt trailside without any other auxiliary tools, so you can get back to your ride or race quickly.
Must-have tool: Screw the tool into the secondary clutch and tighten it, then press the handle to release belt tension and remove the belt. The plastic cap keeps the backing plate attached to the tool.
High-quality material: CNC-machined from aluminum alloy with a rust-resistant finish, built solid and durable for long-term use.
Anti-skid design: The non-slip surface treatment gives you a secure grip so belt changes go faster.

I wanted something quicker and easier to change the belt on my Can Am X3 and Defender. I have not used out in the field with a broken belt but I did a trial run in the garage. I replaced a perfectly good belt based on time and mileage. This tool sped up the job. I do wish the tool was a little higher quality. Threads do not seem to be highly precise and may wear faster than they should. I am hoping it performs flawlessly in an emergency out on the trail.

Took a minute to figure out, then I read the instructions. Just wish it would lock when fully extended. Great addition to the tool kit tho.

This tool fits perfectly and works as described letting you change your belt in minuets and get back to riding. If you have a 64in machine the end of the tool just barley touches the tire but the tool can still fully extend. I have not had any problems with mine.
